Live 9.7.5 is a free update to all existing Live 9 users. Now at version 9.7.5, it includes compatibility with the just-released Roli Blocks series of compact, portable controllers, along with minor bug fixes and tweaks. Something is putting a limit to these apps on CPU and Memory access.Ableton just released an update to its Live 9 digital audio workstation. Cause even when Ableton is showing 200% cpu usage, or when resolume can't play more than one video at one instance, my CPU is running at a maximum of 30% and the Memory at 40% top. I feel like somehow these softwares cannot access all my available resources.

Now thanks to all of these changes, is running super smooth and without any framedrops. I tried a computer game I had (Assassin's Creed origin) which was always running awful and slow as F with a lot of framedrops and lags.

all goodĤ- Malwarebytes to delete malware in safe mode. Here's a list of the stuff I tried:ġ- Did a disk test with Crystaldisk. I have done everything that I could find on different forums, but the problem is still there. You can benchmark your CPU and see if it performs as it should. Thanks alot for all your inputs! But I'll do that if nothing else fixes the issue. Maybe I'll try uninstalling the plugins and re-installing them again? I can't even think about opening the liveset projects that I had with around 50-60 channels, which I played recently without a problem. And there is no one single plugin that causes a CPU overload when I take them out one by one. But that's very unusual for a one track mixdown project. Of course if I start taking the plugins out of the project, it becomes less heavy and CPU frees up.
I can't believe it can be a plugin issue, since I'm using the plugins for a long time now. Has anyone had the same experience? Or has any idea what might have happened during this cursed phone call that I had? I have a relatively good PC with which I had no problems with CPU overload so far until today after the phone call! I even opened the laptop and cleaned the CPU fan. I tried re-installing the Live, updating the windows, "optimizing the system" for lower latency and CPU overload as suggested by Ableton tech forums, and nothing helped. Since then I'm trying every possible solution suggested on different forums, but it seems like my Ableton Live has become unusable.Īll the projects that I was working the last days and months, are now creating a 150-180% Cpu overload. I was working on one of my projects today, everything going smooth, had a phone call, and after I came back from the call Ableton had a 150% CPU overload. I have a very strange thing happening to me today, and I've been going around many many forums and tutorials for hours, without any luck of finding a solution.
